The Information!
This year NeopetsGuide will be hosting a Neopets New Year Party, there will be different activities that can win you awesome prizes!The new years activities will be open for entries from the very beginning of new years day, 1st January NST and entries will close on the 21st January at 11:59pm NST(Date has been extended). Winners will be decided and annouced 1-3 days after, so keep checking back to neopetsguide.com and see if you are a winner!All activity entries will either be emailed to neopetsguidesite@gmail.com or neomailed to neoguidesite (unless stated to neomail else where), and winners will be decided currently only by Viv. Please remember to include your username in your neomail or email. All the people who participate and do not win a prize in all activities excluding the trivia/giveaways, go in the running which is randomly drawed out to win a Orange Split Chia Pop.
Events
Plushie Giveaway
At random times throughout the week that the activities are open, if you see this box with a picture saying ‘open’, neomail girls_818 to recieve a free plushie before the sign changes. If you get sent a plushie and do not accept it in the 48 hours it gets sent, you will not be sent another plushie. 
Blinkies, glitters and animations
Can you make good blinkies, glitters or animations? This is your call! All you have to do is make 3-6 blinkies, animations or glitters (or a mix of all of them, your choice), and the winner recieves a Green uni morphing potion + their glitters/blinkies/animations put up onto the site (optional)! Please note even if you make 6, it does not give you a better chance of winning. It is simply to see how varied out your glitters, blinkies and animations can be. (Our Examples:)
  
Any other glitters, animations or blinkies that I - Viv, think are just excellent, will also be put up onto the site. (You will recieve a neomail or email if that is the case. If you wish for your glitters, animations or blinkies not to be put up, please let me know.)
Name The Item
A new picture of a neo-item will be put up once or twice a day, first person to email or neomail the name of the item will win the item itself. Please wait 1 day if you win an item before guessing another one, to give others a change to win.
Lookup Designing
Design your own lookup using either your own lookup code or one of neopetsguide.com’s code. You may, may not have a better chance of winning if you use your own code, depending on the difficulty of the coding and the quality of the design. You do not have to make a whole new lookup just for this competition, it may be a lookup you have made before the competition started.
This will be one of the few times you will be allowed to alter our code, which includes moving around the div code to fit your design.
Sending in your entry: either send the code or send us a link to your lookup. Also let us know if you are using our code, or your own code. Please do not take down the lookup until said so if you wish to send in your entry that way.
